Job Title: Vice President Finance Transformation and Operations

Location: Hybrid

Salary range: $183K to $210K*

*New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.

Position Overview:

The Vice President Finance Transformation and Operations will lead and manage the people, processes and technologies that support key finance operations including accounting, payroll, and financial planning and analysis fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance. With a focus on company-wide reporting, analytics and business process optimization, this leader will oversee the design and implementation of standardized finance processes and procedures to promote consistency and scalability across the organization and provide management reporting, analytics and decision support to the CFO, COO, and other Executive Leadership that allows Vibrant to deliver high-quality emotional wellness services to an ever-increasing client volume.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of key financial systems and processes including the general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, purchasing and asset management working closely with the Controller, IT, procurement, technology implementation vendors, and other key stakeholders.

  • Lead business process transformation, training and adoption across the finance department including assessing and documenting current workflows, identifying and implementing process improvements reflecting industry best practices, and developing KPIs. Partner with senior executives and stakeholders to communicate progress, solicit feedback, and drive alignment on finance transformation initiatives. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in finance transformation, incorporating learnings into the organization's strategy.

  • Support the CFO in upgrading and implementing an appropriate system of policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures including developing and maintaining a fiscal and asset manual that documents policies and procedures and launching monitoring that tracks and measures adoption and adherence.

  • Develop, launch and manage financial data reporting systems including dashboards, and other reporting tools or documents that effectively communicate the organization’s financial status Including, but not limited to CFO, CEO and Board of Directors.. Build cross-divisional collaboration to ensure transparency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information as it relates to organization performance and planning.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve and optimize reporting and analytics

  • Take an active role in evaluating significant business events (M&A, new clients, etc.) and ensuring appropriate processes and controls are established. Develop insightful presentation materials for senior management reviews aimed at facilitating decision-making and business performance assessments.

  • Provide presentations and updates directly to the Board of Directors on occasion.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change, process optimization and change management within a growing organization

  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a geographically dispersed team with diverse levels of expertise.

  • Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers, prioritize and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple internal customer demands.

  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives.

  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management, board of directors, and staff.

  • Passion for Vibrant’s mission, Passionate about improving the lives of others and familiarity with 988, SAMHSA grants and other healthcare financing for behavioral health.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree, preferably in business administration, public administration, or health administration

  • Minimum 7 years experience in senior management roles demonstrating consistent growth in management responsibilities and span of control

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading large-scale enterprise technology implementations.

  • Experience in analyzing State, Federal or non-governmental funding sources for health and behavioral health care services

  • Experience with BI tools and other data extraction and visualization tools

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning software

  • Experience managing remote and geographically dispersed teams across multiple time zones
