About the Role:

As a CBRE Operations Management Sr Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team responsible for planning, managing, and directing business operations for a large region or high-profile client.

This job is part of the Operations Management job function. They are responsible for coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization’s goals and strategies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide formal supervision to facility, security and client services employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Review the client's strategic plans for appropriate staffing levels to meet expectations.

  • Manage facility project and operating budget reports for properties in the region.

  • Create action plans to improve financial positions, identify and implement cost savings, and pursue revenue growth opportunities on the account.

  • Financial responsibilities include but not limited to operational and P&L budget responsibilities.

  • Manage negotiations for contract services. Work with team to manage vendors and services, maximizing efficiencies

  • Meet with the client management team and appropriate departments to discuss, resolve and discrepancies.

  • Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.

  • Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.

  • Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

What You’ll Need:

  • Must have experience in Headquarters facilities interfacing with C-Suite leaders.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Facility Management certification preferred.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.

  • Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.

  • Ability to integrate teams for a cohesive approach to problem solving and copesetic operations to support our client.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Operations Manager position is $170,000 annually [or $81.73 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Sr Operations Manager position is $190,000 annually [or $91.35 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
