They will be responsible for working across technology, product, and sales leadership to deliver best-in-class products to market and also identifying our next frontier of AI solutions to improve the workstation. This leader will have heavy influence over FactSet’s strategic direction as well as play a key role in its success.What You'll DoIn this role, the candidate will directly lead the multiple engineering teams responsible for the client experience of Mercury, our industry-leading AI conversational chatbot. These teams are primarily responsible for the web UX and client-facing infrastructure. In this role, this leader will work to connect leaders across FactSet in support of building that market-leading client experience, including AI/ML Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Business Line Engineering teams, and more. They will have an opportunity to engage heavily with our clients to collect feedback and shape our vision. This individual will also lead an R&D team responsible for iterating on greenfield product offshoots and identifying the next wave of high-value product investment areas.What We're Looking ForAn ideal candidate will have intimate knowledge of AI products and technologies and can partner with our product leadership to define and set an exciting north-star strategy for our teams to build toward. This role will require both direct management of individuals and team leaders, so the ability to recruit, build talent, and lead an organization is key. Being successful in this role will require the support of a significant number of peer groups. An ideal candidate will have a long track record of collaboration and partnership with teams outside of their direct control with successful results. Lastly, they will need to be hands on and technical - able to provide direction and insight into how to navigate the fast-moving challenges posed by the AI space. FactSet is a leader in AI solutions, and this is an exciting opportunity for someone that is innovative and driven to leave their mark.Responsibilities:Lead multiple teams developing client-facing AI products for the business unit (approx 25 engineers)Partner with Product Leadership to formulate new ideas and foster innovation in our product lines with AIEngage with our clients and their tech teams to accelerate AI sales opportunitiesEnsure reliability and scalability of various critical systemsCollaborate with senior leaders across the organization to deliver that best-in-class productRequired Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science12+ years' industry experience as a software engineer and technology evangelist with a minimum of 5 years’ experience leading large engineering teamsExperience with Web Development and Cloud Services preferredStrong knowledge of AI/ML trends and products requiredHistory of working with Clients & Sales teamsExtensive Management ExperienceTrack Record of InnovationAt FactSet, we celebrate diversity of thought, experience, and perspective.
