Job Description

This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity!

The Agile coach works closely with the scaled agile delivery lead, portfolio manager, product owners, other agile coaches and various agile teams and others needed to understand vision of exec level dashboard, both high and low level requirement of dashboard/metrics, communicate with all delivery regions how to implement them consistently using ADO, understand challenges in implementation and help resolve them across the delivery regions. This role connects with the points-of-contacts of each delivery region of PEDS, help implement ADO standards across them consistently, give visibility of region-wise progress vs gaps and help resolve all those gaps meet the objective of executive dashboard using PowerBI.

Your Impact:

  • Exhibit behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader through mindset; helps agile coaches/RTE/Scrum Masters of all delivery regions to follow ADO standards consistently and show how inconsistency will adversely impact final objective of exec dashboard

  • Embrace SAFe core values, adopt and apply SAFe principles and implement SAFe practices

  • Understand each of the PowerBI metrics in dashboard using data from ADO very well and the value each one brings to the exec management

  • Understand ADO standards very well, identify all impediments in following those standards across various delivery regions and lead the team of RTE/Scrum Masters resolving those impediments

  • Understand nature of work in all PEDS delivery regions and contexts to evaluate where ADO standards must be followed vs where deviation from standards is necessary. Wherever deviation is needed, suggest what would be approach and metrics to give executives respective visibility of dashboard

  • Engage with all PESD teams and trains very collaboratively to implement ADO standards consistently

  • Provide ways how to verify data quality/data stewardship of executive dashboard and how that improves periodically

  • Support the team’s efforts to continuously improve communications and relationships with other delivery teams

  • Be an active member of agile community-of-practice to brainstorm and share ideas how to adopt ADO standardization effectively and quickly. Explore ideas that will help new and existing teams to follow ADO standards practices easily like preparing playbook, use manual, data integrity board, creating top 3 and bottom 3 teams in ADO adoption per month etc

  • Review ADO boards delivery region and team wise. Show RTE/Scrum Masters how to use ADO hands on and why it helps for teams to realize the value of ADO adoption uniformly

  • Regular status update with NFCU leaders of this exec dashboard exercise using data on progress, risks, mitigation plan and support needed

  • Be actively involved in change management or adoption of ADO standardization

Qualifications

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of agile project management experience, as well as strong fundamentals in advanced analytics, data integration, and visualization leading agile projects

  • At least 5 years of working experience as agile coach and another 5 years as Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer

  • At least one of the certifications – CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe SSM, SAFe RTE or SPC

  • Hands on experience of ADO(must). If new to ADO, must have strong experience in JIRA, Rally or Version One

  • Extensive experience in leading, guiding and coaching agile or SAFe to multiple teams

  • Significant experience leading agile development teams and facilitating team meetings in Agile environment

  • Strong knowledge of SAFe framework including SAFe principles, value and practices and implement them in real world projects

  • Basic understanding of the Data Engineering and how it adds value to the organization

  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong adaptability and interest to know new skills continuously needed to play the role of Scrum Master effectively

  • Very good team player and ability to work with people from diverse background

  • Very effective in communication skill (both verbal and non-verbal) so as to align with wide variety of people

Desired Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Expert in ADO including customized reports using ADO and PowerBI

  • Familiarity with banking industry standards and regulations
