Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with a strong mechanical aptitude to assemble and test large servo motors. This position requires experience with electronic and/or mechanical assembly, machine operation, and the use of various hand and power tools, including torque wrenches.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test servo motors using hand and power tools as well as torque wrenches.

• Operate specified machines to insert various components into the motors.

• Perform step-by-step assembly processes and quality checks at each stage.

• Solder, hand braze, or induction braze as required.

• Rotate to different work stations based on production needs.

• Help pack products into individual boxes and cases and place them on skids.

• Clean equipment and work areas by performing daily and weekly safety checks.

Essential Skills

• Electronic and/or mechanical assembly experience.

• Proficiency in reading schematics and mechanical drawings.

• Experience with machine operations and operation of production tooling and fixtures.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs consistently.

• Ability to stand throughout the duration of the shift, bend, twist, and reach.

• Proficiency in reading, understanding, and speaking English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Soldering experience is a plus but not required.

Work in a factory setting with an assembly line environment and the smell of production equipment running. The position requires standing for long periods and handling heavier objects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Ulm, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $19.76/hr.
