Google Engineering Project Specialist, Hardware in New Taipei City, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience in consumer electronics manufacturing, and in managing NPI product builds.

  • 1 year of program management experience.

  • Experience in working with ODM, JDM, and CM suppliers.

  • Experience using Google Sheets formulas, and with logistics and international shipping.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations.

  • Experience coordinating and supporting cross-functional teams on engineering sample management processes.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with experience managing spreadsheets and coordinating across diverse teams and functions.

As an Engineering Project Specialist on the Hardware team, you will build products and shape the future of technology, as well as collaborate within the industry to produce hardware innovations.

  • Ensure engineering teams receive test devices according to project schedules.

  • Coordinate with carrier teams and certification teams to understand customer requirements for product certification, and ensure contract manufacturers (CMs) understand and implement requirements.

  • Manage projects with defined scope, adjusting resources and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and meet team objectives.

  • Monitor the build status, identify and resolve potential delays, and ensure on-time delivery of products.
