The City of New Richmond, known as "The City Beautiful", is located an easy and quick commute in both directions from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area and a short distance from Eau Claire, WI. City Beautiful it is, in setting, in character and quality of life!
This position is responsible for developing sales solutions, closing orders and successfully completing customer projects in a manner that meets the customer’s objectives of performance and schedule as well a Bosch Packaging’s objectives of profitability.
Serves as the primary contact with the agent (s) and sales to define the customer’s project requirements and offering a proposal that meets their needs.
Develop a clear understanding of the project objectives, challenges design requirements, includes overall schedule (Gantt chart) and cost requirements.
Retain the overall responsibility for the project up to project management handoff.
Communicate the project objectives, timetable, margin calculation and budget to the organization.
Schedule and lead concept reviews, order kickoff meetings, engineering reviews, and QGA meetings; assign responsibilities to team members as needed. Motivate and challenge project management, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure deadlines are met.
Motivate and challenge appropriate departments to ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain a complete record of the project history. Include any changes in design concept, project scope, etc. and the related cost impact. Review all potential cost increases with the product manager, project management and/or customer before implementation.
Work with project management to track project status on a continuous basis concerning money, schedule, and any application/technical issues. Communicate progress as needed to customers and at regular intervals to Bosch management.
Serve as primary source for any customer interaction; design or project review, questions, concerns, and changes.
Responsible for customer visits and travel as need to customer side approximately 20% travel. ( domestic and international).
8+ years of experience in packaging applications.
5+ years of experience with sales/customer interactions.
4+ years of experience creating solutions and preparing proposals.
Engineering degree discipline. (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, etc.)
Advance knowledge of HFFS, VFFS, Robotics, and Secondary packaging equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with customer and other functions and foster teamwork.
Must be self-motivated having the ability to work in a team environment.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while accepting changing priorities and deadlines.
Drive problem solving activities, pro-actively suggest improvements, and meet required deadlines.
PC Knowledge and SAP experience to create proposals.
Microsoft Office skills to create margin calculations, timelines, conduct QGA’s and generate reports.
Have a professional aptitude and ability to represent Company in a professional manner.
Good understanding of sales, engineering, and business process.
