Description

Robert Half is in search of a meticulous Office Manager for our client in New Orleans, Louisiana. The candidate will be tasked with a range of responsibilities including administrative tasks, customer service, and office logistics within the telecom industry. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth running of the office by performing administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and handling emails

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook to maintain office systems

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

• Manage office logistics, including scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, and setting up and cleaning up conference rooms

• Assist with office relocation and remodeling activities, showcasing strong organizational skills

• Handle marketing materials and execute email marketing initiatives

• Maintain a professional front desk presence and manage incoming calls

• Support team members, such as engineers, with tasks like ordering lunch and managing reservations

• Exhibit strong calendar management skills by scheduling and organizing meetings efficiently

• Ensure all office tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, demonstrating strong time management skills

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Strong customer service skills

• Experience with copying and scanning documents

• Familiarity with conference room setup and cleanup

• Proficient in scheduling appointments and calendar management

• Ability to organize meetings efficiently

• Experience with email marketing

• Knowledge of marketing material creation and distribution

• Office management experience is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
