We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Systems Engineer. This role is in the telecom industry, where you will be responsible for building and supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments using VMWare Horizon. This role is vital in handling graphics and storage needs of a large-scale company. Please apply if this is something you would be open too and can commit too.

Responsibilities:

• Building VDI environments from scratch using VMWare Horizon

• Providing support for the VDI environment

• Handling large graphics and storage needs of the company

• Utilizing VMWare and Veeam for system operations and backup tasks

• Ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the systems

• Identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

• Monitoring and testing system performance and providing performance statistics and reports

• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for multiple environment

Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.

• Proficiency in Veeam and Veeam Backup is required.

• Knowledge of Vmware Infrastructure is crucial for this role.

• Familiarity with VM Horizon and Horizon View is expected.

• Experience with Enterprise Storage is necessary.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them, and execute them in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues are key.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological advancements and trends in the field.
