The role.

Innomotics is looking for developing an Order Controller to support the Project Execution (PE) team. The position will report directly to Project Management.

The role of the Project Execution Order Controller is to coordinate, expedite, and prioritize buyouts for the Project Execution Organization. This includes placing purchase requisitions on the behalf of the Project Management team and actively communicating to vendors to acquire updates on buyouts. In addition, this position will help support purchase for resale motors and drive only projects from a project management perspective.

  • Facilitate 3rd party vendor deliveries and track the statuses.

  • Lead purchase requisitions on behalf of the Project Management team.

  • Actively connect with vendors regarding requirements.

  • Act as an expediter between Supplier and Innomotics when needed.

  • Coordinate supplier lead times with project management and scheduling.

  • Maintain centralized location of PE buyouts by leading the PE Master Buyout Tracker.

  • Act as a support function specifically during the execution of the purchase for resale motors and drive only projects.

  • Communicate to Upper Management when delays will be impacting customers.

  • Develop and facilitate a recurring meeting with key suppliers as needed with Procurement.

  • Partner with procurement to identify common buyouts and maintain safety stock of key components.

  • Develop and maintain supplier data tracker and share with PE PM group.

Your profile.

  • 5+ years with Order Management or Supply Chain Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business equivalent

  • SAP experience required.

  • Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Consistent track record to expertly run vendor communication for sophisticated issues and /or sensitive situations.

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent client-facing and internal presentation skills

  • Confirmed interpersonal skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, time management and problem-solving skills.

  • Confirmed ability to work closely with a variety of roles such as field service, engineering, and product management to successfully prioritize and resolve customer issues in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.

The pay range for this position is $63,700 - $109,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
