Express Employment Professionals of Brighton/Howell is assisting an automotive fastener facility in New Hudson seeking a Quality Auditor / Inspector to become an integral part of the team!  Position will be supporting machine and assembly stations to complete in process and final inspections.

Pay Rate:  $16 hour

This position is full-time and NOT Temporary

Shift availability required to work first and second shift or first and third shift:

Training first shift 6am-2:30pm

Transferring to 2nd or 3rd shift based on candidate preference: 2:00pm-10:30pm or 10pm-6:30am

Quality Inspector Responsibilities Include:

• Perform quality audits on the production floor to ensure product conformity and procedures and instructions are being followed
• Analyze, track and report audit results to the production and/or quality teams
• Initiate problem solving and corrective action activities
• Create instructions and visual aids to standardize work processes
• Train and support personnel in quality related training
• Support customer concern investigations and manufacturing quality issues
• Participate in internal auditing systems
• Carry out other related duties as requested by the Quality Assurance Engineers

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of quality systems
• Certified auditor preferred, not required
• Associates degree preferred, not required
• Skills with Windows and MS Office applications
• Desire to work in a team environment
• Ability to maintain professional behavior in all situations
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, good interpersonal skills
• Organized, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritize assignments
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets
• Ability to work independently

• Ability to travel to customer locations if required
