Job Description: Middlebury Fence Company is seeking a skilled and experienced Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering top-notch craftsmanship. As a Fence Installer, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fencing types, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain link fences, according to project specifications and industry standards. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

1. Install various types of fencing materials, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain link fences.

2. Interpret drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.

3. Measure and mark fence lines, set posts, and lay out fencing materials.

4. Dig post holes using hand tools or powered equipment and set posts securely in the ground.

5. Cut and shape fencing materials to fit specific dimensions and layouts.

6. Install gates, hinges, latches, and other hardware as needed.

7. Ensure that all installed fencing meets quality standards and customer expectations.

8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.

9. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

10. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project success.

Requirements:

11. High school diploma or equivalent.

12. Previous experience in fence installation or a related field preferred.

13. Knowledge of various fencing materials and installation techniques.

14. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

15. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

16. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

17. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

18. Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation.

19. Basic carpentry skills and familiarity with hand and power tools.

20. Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
