Mountaineer Casino Resort TECHNICIAN – HVAC in New Cumberland, West Virginia

SUMMARY

Responsible for installation, replacement, repair, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of all property HVAC and kitchen equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Monitor BAS to help find issues with the property's HVAC systems 
  2. Daily documentation and walkthroughs
  3. Check operation of units as needed and maintain a proper preventative maintenance schedules
  4. Diagnoses and repair of PTACs
  5. Condenser/Evaporator coil cleaning
  6. Cleaning of units and surrounding areas as needed
  7. Refrigerant leak detection and charging as needed
  8. Replacing unit components as needed
  9. Replace ice machine water filters
  10. Diagnose and repair of all HVAC equipment
  11. Maintaining proper inventory levels of all needed parts/supplies
  12. Assist other Team Members with duties and all other duties assigned by management
  13. All other duties assigned 

     

REPORTING LINE

You will report directly to the Manager of Maintenance then to the Director of Maintenance.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times. 
  • The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner. 
  • You will need to be available to work all shifts. 
  • The ability to work in a fast--paced environment.
  • You must be at least 21 years old. 
  • Obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to be covered under Mountaineer Casino Insurance for driving our vehicles.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair of kitchen cooking and cooling equipment

``` - Ability to recognize/remedy safety concerns and utilize all personal protective equipment as required

``` - Ability to diagnose and repair all property HVAC Systems  - Capable of using property Building Automation System (BAS) - Knowledge of Chilled/heated water systems - Knowledge of ice making machines - You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License. - Minimum 2 years HVAC experience preferred. 

 

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent. EPA Certification required. EPA Section 608 Certification Type II or higher

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physically capable of Sitting/Standing, Lifting, Kneeling, Bending, Walking/Stretching, Pushing/Pulling, Climbing/Reaching for extended periods of time

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
