Defense Logistics Agency Vending Machine Collector/Distributor NF-01 in New Cumberland Defense Logistics Center, Pennsylvania

Summary This position is located at DLA Susquehanna in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Collects all vending machine (VM) coins on a weekly basis. Performs basic repair and maintenance of VM in the field to include testing of coin mechanisms, cleaning exterior surfaces and replacement of missing or damaged rack cards. Coordinates and conducts move of VM and or new placement of machines with the appropriate District Manager. Coordinates refurbishment of machines with VM technician. Maintains control logs and appropriate documentation records. Distributes special publications to military installations throughout designated area. Looks for new distribution points and maintains free rack stands. Collects special publications or newspaper returns on a weekly basis at military exchange facilities. Drives a motor vehicle. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Standard Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in handling and accounting for money as well as experience showing attention to detail, good organizational skills & basic math skills. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
