Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Accountant for the School of Engineering. The primary focus of the Senior Accountant will be to serve as a team leader in sponsored and non-sponsored activity for the assigned Departments/Centers that includes expense monitoring and budget approval, compliance review, expense projections, and financial report reconciliation. Serving as the team leader requires an understanding of individual grant activity and grant duration. To project a fiscal year's award and expense budget, the Senior Accountant is expected to, with minimal oversight, to analyze projected revenue and expenditures that will take place within that year for existing grants and available funds.Among the key duties of the position are the following:
