Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator I for the Office of the Chancellor. Reporting to the Director of Scarlet Well and working closely with the Chief Wellness Officer,Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Supports the efficient daily operations and coordinating and implementing events for Scarlet Well, which is located in the Office of the Chancellor.
  • Plays a key role in ensuring smooth workflow and coordination within Scarlet Well.
  • Assists the Director of Scarlet Well in coordinating and implementing projects and programs.
  • Conducts research and gather information to support project planning and decision-making.
  • Schedules meetings and manages calendars.
  • Develops and implements surveys and databases.
  • Coordinaties travel arrangements.
  • Processes transactions and handles inquiries.
  • Assists with projects and committees and supports event planning and implementation.
  • Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates integrity in all matters related to the office.
  • Takes a leadership role with co-developing and implementing wellness programs with Rutgers college students.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in fast-paced office environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software and technology, including Qualtrics, REDCap, CANVA, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools.
  • Experience posting new content to social media and websites and maintaining/updating websites.
  • Proven experience with wellness activity design and implementation.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Ability to help setup events.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in mental health/wellness related field.
  • Direct related experience working with emerging adult/college student populations.
  • Experience in wellness programs for emerging adults.
Equipment Utilized

  • Zoom.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
  • DocuSign.
  • Rutgers Systems: ROCS, Peoplesoft, marketplace, etc.
