| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | Applicants must have a PhD in biomedical science or engineering (or a closely related discipline), and an excellent record of scholarship as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and scientific presentations in national and international conferences. The candidate must also have expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology, as well characterization of macrophage and neural cellular responses to inflammatory stimuli. Also required are hands-on experience with cell culture, cellular imaging, high throughput cell characterization assays and laboratory research animals. |
