Job Overview:

The Food Service Worker at our hospital plays a crucial role in our patient care experience. This position involves ensuring the timely delivery of meals to patients, maintaining dietary guidelines, and contributing to a positive atmosphere. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent service.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Successful completion of general and department specific orientation

• Previous experience in a food service role

• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work in very fast paced environment

Preferred:

• Experience in a healthcare setting

• Certification in food handling and safety

• Bilingual abilities

• Excellent problem solving skills

Scheduling Requirements:

Work every other weekend and every other holiday.
