The Division of Acute Care Surgery at Rutgers RWJMS is actively recruiting a full-time Academic Surgeon at the Associate Professor level. Applicants must have a strong interest in clinical practice of trauma, surgical critical care and acute care surgery. In addition, applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to research and education.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Candidates must have completed an accredited fellowship in surgical critical care and/or acute care surgery and be board certified/eligible in general surgery and be able to sit for the certificate of added qualifications in surgical critical care. You must also be eligible for unrestricted licensure in the State of New Jersey.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 60.1.35 , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to receive an updated (bivalent) vaccine dose.
