Position Overview: As a Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role in educating and mentoring our nursing students. Your expertise in medical surgical nursing will guide students through theoretical knowledge and practical application, preparing them for successful careers in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and effectively deliver nursing curriculum in the classroom and/or clinical sites.

• Mentor and support students in their academic and clinical learning experiences.

• Supervise students and demonstrate hands-on patient care at nursing clinical sites.

• Teach nursing techniques and provide sufficient practice to students to develop skill proficiency.

• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback for growth.

• Maintain accurate and detailed student records.

• Collaborate with fellow educators and healthcare professionals to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in CT

• BSN or Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience

• Previous teaching or precepting experience in a healthcare or academic setting is advantageous.

• Strong communication skills and a passion for educating future healthcare professionals.
