(Rush Administrative Services Inc DBA Rush Enterprises Inc has an opening in New Braunfels, TX) Software Developer (Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE): Work independently and with team members to develop and configure D365 CE, including: Customizing entities, Developing plug-ins, Developing workflows (including Power Automate), Developing JavaScript, Configuring security, Developing Azure Functions and .NET applications related to D365 CE applications, and Developing D365 integrations with existing and new Rush business applications, 3rd party applications, and platforms. Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts to prepare functional specifications for D365 CE application customizations and configurations. Break down functional specifications into technical designs, development tasks, and estimates; execute to completion. Create unit tests; execute unit testing. Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, data, and system configuration issues. Present technical ideas and approaches to Product Owners, Business Analysts, peers or the IT software engineering team. Participate in design and code reviews. Mentor and train technical team members. Interact with the development team and management staff on a daily basis. Use Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Code, and Azure DevOps to develop and maintain code bases including branching, merging, and code builds. Document D365 CE solutions, including developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, clear code and other appropriate documentation. Prepare and install D365 CE solution releases and 3rd party applications. Follow Rush’s Software Development Life Cycle process. Document development effort, maintain, and submit timesheets. Requires Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related and 5 years of progressive experience as Software Developer (Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE), or related. 5 years must include experience with (1) design and development experience in Microsoft Dynamics D365 CE; (2) C# .NET, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, SSRS, and SSIS; (3) software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software development best practices; and (4) object-oriented design (OOD), design patterns, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis. 3 years must include experience with (1) technical architecture of Dynamics D365 CE; (2) Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI; (3) preparing technical documentation; and (4) working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
