Our client, in the logistics/transportation industry is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team. As an IT Project Manager, you will be part of the project management team supporting InfoSec projects for the organization. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, organization, and coordination to support PMOs key activities.

Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Greater San Antonio , TX (hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Pay Range: $50/hr - $55/hr

Type: Contract, 6-months (strong possibility for extension or C2H)

USC or Permanent Residents only – No C2C or Sponsorships provided

What’s the Job?

• Collaborate with a cross functional team sto drive adherence and adoption for global delivery methods for consistent delivery to meet or exceed project targets and quality targets.

• Ensure all projects administered by the PMO adhere to the best practices and standard approaches as defined in the project management methodology.

• Guide project stakeholders in defining project scope, charter and other project deliverables.

• Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects.

• Maintain and update the project management framework and disciplines necessary to support a PMO.

What’s Needed?

• 3-5 years of Project Management experience, preferably in one of these areas - Infosec, Network, or IT Infrastructure

• Ability to lead through ambiguity; Drive towards clarity, intimate with details, buy in around decisions

• Skilled at providing weekly status reports that accurately communicates the project story

• Experienced in creating/building schedules and facilitating projects from start to finish.

• Experience in developing detailed project schedules between multiple functional areas
