Job Description:

Amergis Staffing is seeking dedicated and experienced RespiratoryTherapists to join our team at a long-term care facility specializing in thecare of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This roleis crucial in providing high-quality respiratory care and improving the qualityof life for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services including assessment, treatment, and care for residents with respiratory conditions.

• Manage and operate ventilators and other respiratory equipment.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

• Monitor and document residents' progress and responses to treatments.

• Educate residents and their families on respiratory care and equipment use.

  Requirements:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with ventilators.

• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.

• Ventilator experience required.

  Shift Details:

• Day Shift: 36 hours per week

• Night Shift: 36 hours per week

• 13-week contract with potential for extension
