Job Description:
Amergis Staffing is seeking dedicated and experienced RespiratoryTherapists to join our team at a long-term care facility specializing in thecare of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This roleis crucial in providing high-quality respiratory care and improving the qualityof life for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory therapy services including assessment, treatment, and care for residents with respiratory conditions.
Manage and operate ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Monitor and document residents' progress and responses to treatments.
Educate residents and their families on respiratory care and equipment use.
Requirements:
Valid Respiratory Therapist license.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with ventilators.
Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
Ventilator experience required.
Shift Details:
Day Shift: 36 hours per week
Night Shift: 36 hours per week
13-week contract with potential for extension
