Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
• Carry out custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings as needed.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
