Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description

In this role, you will perform mechanical calculations, crunch numbers, and validate that designs meet customer and industry standard requirements. You will primarily calculate forces and stresses using ANSYS and MATHCAD, and work independently on hand calculations. You will also check the work of other team members, verify inputs, equations, and assumptions, and document calculations to share with customers. You will need to respond to customer feedback and work with the mechanical design team to confirm assumptions and make recommendations for design improvements. As a new team member, you'll have access to example calculations to help you get started.

This is a fully on-site position in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

This role is within the structural department of the Nuclear division. You will focus on calculations and number-crunching rather than design work.
