We are seeking an EH&S Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations within the workplace. This role involves developing and implementing safety programs, conducting training sessions, and investigating incidents to promote a safe work environment. Responsibilities - Develop and implement safety plans and programs tailored to the specific needs of the workplace and in line with industry standards in order to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions - Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures - Conduct risk assessments to identify, evaluate and prioritize potential risks - Provide training on safety procedures, emergency response, and hazard communication - Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports - Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety awareness - Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to occupational health and safety - Provide first aid / CPR as required - Ensure safety devices and protective equipment are installed and being used properly - Assist with ergonomics assessments - Assist in managing HAZMAT and chemical storage program - Coordinate emergency procedures; set schedules for evacuation drills Qualifications - Two years experience in an Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred - Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health & Safety Technician (OHST) certification is a plus - Knowledge of workers\' compensation laws and regulations - Experience in conducting root cause analysis for incidents - Strong understanding of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols - Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs - Bilingual (English / Spanish) requirement Job Type: Full-time : \$19.00 - \$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) 4% Match 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid jury duty Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance
