Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in New Albany, Ohio. The role will be focused on identifying and maintaining fixed assets, as well as accounting for the company's financial well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and properly depreciate fixed assets

• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets

• Account for the company's financial well-being

• Process and manage accounts payable and receivable

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations

• Maintain the general ledger and make necessary journal entries

• Close the books at the end of each month

• Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks

• Address and resolve any accounting issues that may arise.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a related role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
