A leading GC firm is seeking a Safety Lift Director to oversee and manage on-site lifting, hoisting, mobile equipment, and crane/rigging activities for large-scale construction projects. This role requires close collaboration with project teams to promote a world-class safety culture and prevent significant incidents. Key responsibilities include mentoring trade partners, implementing industry best practices, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Candidates should have 5+ years of crane and rigging experience, including managing large, complex projects, with expertise in lifting, hoisting, and rigging operations. Highly desired certifications include NCCCO Lift Director, NCCCO Rigger 1, NCCCO Rigger 2, NCCCO Crane Operator, and STSC or CHST. Formal safety training in hazardous energy control, LOTO, and various construction safety disciplines is essential, along with experience working with different types of cranes, forklifts, and rigging. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and relevant safety certifications or degrees are also required. Relocation is available for qualified candidates.
