Maintenance Technician
Starting up to $35/hr!
Job Description
We have multiple openings for Maintenance Technicians due to changes in the work schedule. We are transitioning from 8-hour shifts to 12-hour shifts. Bright is a privately owned contract manufacturing company. The facility is a 225,000+ square foot site that includes research, production, and warehouse facilities. Manufacturing capabilities include product filling capacity with over 16 filling lines, including 7 liquid filling lines, 5 alcohol filling lines, a hot pour filling line with cooling tunnel, and 3 tube filling lines.
Responsibilities
Maintain equipment in a safe operating condition.
Repair breakdowns and complete operating adjustments as observed or requested.
Perform equipment preventive maintenance on a regular basis.
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by utilizing the CMMS system to receive work orders, issue parts to those work orders, and sign off work orders when complete.
Understand and adhere to GMP, SOP, and safety procedures always, including LOTO.
Support structured improvement projects or other projects assigned by leadership.
Use precision measuring and testing instruments.
Remove defective parts by dismantling devices/equipment/machinery using hand and power tools.
Take ownership of work performance and craftsmanship.
Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
Maintenance experience in a bottling/labeling or extrusion facility.
Electrical experience changing out sensors.
Experience in a highly automated facility; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.
Experience maintaining pneumatic systems.
