Infrastructure Inventory Technician

New Albany, Ohio

Pay Rate: $27.25/hr W2

M-F 8am – 5pm

Job Overview

• Responsible for receiving incoming shipments of hardware components and standalone servers.

• Entering hardware inventory into database.

• Inventory Audits.

• Shipping of material.

• Move systems to prepped space and connect systems to power, network and KVM.

• PDU/KVM set ups.

• Update system, PDU and KVN info in within systems of record.

Qualifications

• Technician with prior datacenter or similar client lab inventory experience preferred.

• Experienced racking/stacking servers.

• Familiar with inventory of computer parts and hardware components is preferred.

• Good computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems and MS Excel.

• Inventory tracking system experience with ServiceNow, ISMP or MS Office desired.

• Ability to lift 25lbs (i.e., computer servers) and stand for long periods of time.

• High school diploma/GED required.
