Aegis Mission Essential Personnel Business Systems Manager in New Albany, Ohio

Position: Business Systems Manager Location: Remote Salary Range: $160,000 - $175,000 Job Description: The primary functions of this position are to oversee the organization's accounting, timekeeping, and expense systems from a technical perspective, ensuring alignment and compliance with business goals and objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *Ensure security of accounting data, system accesses, and back up systems. Identify any weaknesses, mitigate risk, and recommend/implement timely solutions. *Facilitate accounting-related systems upgrades, implementations, and data migrations as needed. *Advise on process improvements from a systems subject matter expert perspective. *Ensure that the performance of the accounting functions align with the policies and procedures as established by the company. *Provide support for labor processing and leave posting, including timesheet revisions. *Provide ad hoc troubleshooting in Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense, and advise on functions including but not limited to: Project Setup, Workforce maintenance, Billing formulas, Revenue formulas, etc. *Lead month-end, payroll, and other reconciliations. *Manage relationships with accounting technology vendors and service providers to ensure that service *levels are maintained, and cost efficiencies are achieved. *Understand various contract types, including firm fixed price, time and materials (T&M), cost-plus, and ID/IQ contracting, as well as their applicability and limitations. *Understand Mission Essential business financial structures and direct and indirect cost elements. *Assist with Disclosure Statement updates as needed. *Support the annual Incurred Cost Submission as needed. *Partner in the development of exception reporting and data anomaly detection/variance analysis. *Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. *Perform other duties as assigned. Job Specifications: *Employee must be able to work in fast-paced, complex current operations environment. *Employee must be willing to work in a deadline driven environment, which may require extended hours to ensure completion of assigned tasks. *Employee is required to communicate and work effectively with other employees; employee must possess public speaking and presentation skills. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Employee will be required to sit for long periods of time and complete tasks using a computer. TRAINING, EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT REQUIRED: *Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field with minimum of 8+ years of experience. *Solid understanding of US Government contracting. *Specific knowledge of and experience with compliance related documentation, testing, audit, and remediation procedures in the Government Contracting industry. *Must have demonstrated proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense. *Experience with ERP systems, CRM software, and other business critical systems. *Strong knowledge of business management and project management principles. *Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. *Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholder groups. *Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
