Siemens Energy Account Manager - Transmission and Distribution in Nevada

A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

Siemens Energy is currently in search of an Account Manager to be located within the West Sales Region This position will be responsible for calling on power utilities, EPC’s and developers with a primary focus on transmission and distribution products and solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Provide Transmission & Distribution solutions and product sales coverage for the West Region

  • Build account plans and drive sales strategies and growth

  • Serve as single point of contact to customers, lead technical and commercial negotiations on behalf of the Siemens and the Siemens Energy portfolio

  • Develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally

  • Forecast opportunities and manage the sales process, from lead to order entry

  • Attend relevant conferences and trade shows

  • Maintain accurate Salesforce.com records and pipeline

  • Travel domestically and internationally for customer meetings, factory visits and acceptance tests

What You Bring (requirements)

  • Bachelor of Science Degree required

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain meaningful relationship at all levels of customer organizations up through the C-Suite

  • 5+ years of sales, marketing, and/or engineering experience with electrical utilities or renewable energy. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher a level and vice versa.

  • Must have some experience with Transmission and Distribution products/solutions or knowledge of Siemens and/or Siemens Energy products/solutions

  • General understanding of the bulk power system in the United States

  • Ability to be a key contributor as part of a team

  • Ability to travel, at times up to 50% domestically and on occasion international

  • Ability to support customers outside of traditional working hours as needed

  • Ability to multitask multiple accounts, opportunities, and priorities at the same time

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

This job may be based in California or Washington. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.  Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://benefitsatenergy.com/thinking-of-joining.html . _  The base salary range for this position if based in California or Washington is <$111,500.00 – $181,600.00> and the annual incentive target is <20%> of base salary and company car._

Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
