A Day in the Life
Medtronic is hiring a skilled Sales and Market Insights Analyst to join our Reporting & Analytics Team for Western Europe. In this role, you will support our regional commercial and marketing functions with data-driven insights and comprehensive reporting that shape strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have an excellent analytical background, expertise in market insights topics, and the ability to transform data into actionable insights. Your work will guide sales strategies, trend assessment, and identify opportunities within the Western Europe region.
The job function can be performed remotely, working with colleagues and business stakeholders located across 17 countries within the western Europe region.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives; translating their needs into analytics proposals that are fit for usage within the region.
Developing, automating, and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insights into sales performance and market trends.
Generating Analytics solution; following key initiatives within the operating unit and developing reports to monitor KPIs and performance metrics, identifying key insights and trends.
Ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting by performing regular data validation.
Analysing sales data to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the sales pipeline and revenue generation.
Preparing regular ad hoc sales performance reports for senior leadership team.
Gathering data from a variety of internal and external sources, analysing market developments, and competitive activity.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Analytics, Reporting, or Market Insights; excellent understanding of sales metrics and market research methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
•Fluency in English; ability to communicate insights effectively, translating data findings into actionable recommendations for a broad audience.
Proficiency in Snowflake, Python and knowledge/experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (Salesforce) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems would be beneficial to have.
