Planning and Analytics Manager

The Planning and Analytics Manager is a cross-functional leader coordinating demand planning efforts across the Nutra Blend company, as well as with Purina, PMI, and other strategic accounts. In this role the Planning and Analytics Manager is responsible for maintaining enterprise analytics and KPI's to enable cross-functional decision making to maximize customer service, plant utilization and product margin.

This role aligns closely with operations and procurement as well as customer service by assisting with strategic account management and our ability to deliver on the perfect order. In this role, the Planning and Analytics Manager will assist in planning and optimizing inventory as well as product manufacturing across the NB network. The Planning and Analytics Manager is a leader with strong capability to build and maintain relationships across departments and external stakeholders, has strong planning and communication abilities and the ability to identify opportunities and execute on optimization and transformational efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

• Refine and manage Sales and Operations planning, including demand forecasting models, inventory planning and optimization, network optimization
• Implement, maintain and track Key Performance Indicators, and develop root cause framework to execute improvement strategies.
• PowerBI Management
• Lead cross-functional efforts to manage through supply/demand disruptions, marketing initiatives, bid business, etc.
• Lead Strategic Account relationships (plan, monitor, and communicate forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels) to include Purina, PMI, and 4-5 key accounts.
• Material and Asset Optimization - Optimize and execute on material placement across plant/warehouse network and lead efforts to reduce shrink and obsolescence expenses.
• Human Resources and people leadership responsibilities for members of Planning Team.

Experience-Education (Required):

• Bachelor's Degree required in business, operations, or related field
• 5 years Planning/Analytics experience
• Certification or education experience in analytics/data science

• Experience in statistical programming such as Python, R, SAS, SPSS, etc.
