Job Description

Role Overview:

The Document Control Manager will oversee and manage all document management activities one of the NEOM Projects. This role is critical in ensuring that project documentation is accurately maintained, securely stored, and efficiently distributed using ACONEX. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining document control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting the project team in achieving project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the document control process, including receiving, tracking, and distributing documents, and ensuring that the latest revisions are available to the project team.

  • Oversee the implementation and use of ACONEX for managing project documentation, ensuring all users are trained and the system is used effectively.

  • Develop and maintain document management procedures, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and correspondence.

  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Quality Management teams to ensure that all documentation meets the required quality standards.

  • Manage the document lifecycle, from creation to archiving, and ensure proper records management practices are followed.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate document exchange.

  • Conduct regular audits of the document control system to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide training and support to project staff on document control procedures and the use of ACONEX.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in document control and management on large-scale construction projects, preferably within the Middle East.

  • Expertise in using ACONEX for document management.

  • Strong knowledge of records management, quality assurance, and quality management practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
