Job Description

A well-known Government supporting company in the Nellis area is seeking a Software Engineer to support various tasks for AFOTEC and different Navy customers. They will be working with the customers to bring in different data sources from different classified systems for different fighter jets, work with the data scientists on the team to manipulate that data and then present back to the customer on the results. Other responsibilities will be to work within the architecture to get the data points to where they need to be, develop and maintain both front end and back end applications and systems, design and implement server side logic, debug and troubleshoot issues across the full stack and ensure the scalability, security and performance of these applications. They might also participate in code reviews to ensure best practices.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelors in engineering or related field (Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical, Avionics etc)

- 5+ years of experience within software engineering, full stack development and cloud

o Exposure to Java, python, C++ ( 1 of the above or multiple)

o Exposure to Javascript, HTML CSS

o SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and MongoDB

- TSSCI clearance - Fighter aircraft knowledge and test experience is desired null
