Job Description

Insight Global is currently seeking a Helicopter Instrumentation Technician to join a program through the 96th Test Wing at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV. Your responsibility to support aircraft testing will come by designing and fabricating instrumentation packages and developing corresponding drawings and checklists. You will install and configure various sensors and data recorders to collect data during test events, including analog, digital bus data, video/audio channels, and discrete signals. Additionally, you will design, fabricate, and assemble specialized test modules as needed for instrumenting aircraft systems. You'll also download, assess, and ensure the accuracy of collected data, supporting test engineers in preparing reports, coordinating with various team members for successful test missions.

Skills and Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance

   - Experience creating, designing and fabricating instrumentation packages for military aircraft (helicopter instruments preferred)

   - Experience using hand operated tools as well as specialized tools for instrumentation and electric bench tools (multimeter, heat gun, soldering, etc.)

   - Experience building electrical connectors, cannon plugs, and wiring harnesses

   - Experience with data collection systems for military aircraft - Bachelors Degree in a related engineering field and 3+ years of experience required for to meet customer expectations for LCAT

   - Experience with HH60G/W aircraft highly desired null
