JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Production Supervisor - R5004 * Supports operational strategies for the non-linerboard presses to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, sales, human capital, cost and profitability. * Accountable for non-linerboard\'s key performance metrics including machine and labor efficiencies and provides guidance to production associates to ensure scorecard objectives are met. * Responsible for operations labor planning and scheduling. * Manages production system administration, system super user. * Accountable for creation and loading of automation jobs and orders. * Supports capacity planning process to meet internal and external customer on-time-delivery demands. * Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to support continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. * Provides support for on-site interviews, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the hourly production team. * Interacts with key stakeholders to provide technical support and/or resolve order problems or complaints. * Manages attendance, training, and verification of policy compliance for all production crews. * Provides back up for Production Manager as well as the Production Supervisors as needed. * Responsible for maintaining housekeeping, 5S, and PM execution for the non-linerboard presses. * Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications. * Other duties as assigned Shift Requirements: * 1st shift, coverage for supervisor absences may be needed to support the 24/7 operation. #LI-CB1 Equal Opportunity Employer-minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience: * High School diploma required; bachelor\'s degree preferred * Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required * Yellow Belt Certification preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization\'s policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes. * Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and site. * Knowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product components. * Knowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facility. * Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility. * Knowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products and in the optimization of manufacturing processes.
