Job Title: Crate Builder

Job Description

This candidate will be fabricating and assembling metal framework of doors and windows for buildings by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Install hardware, such as locks, lock sets, hinging and storefront aluminum extrusions to include fabrication and assembly.

• Develop layouts and plan sequence of operations.

• Perform layout and prepare framing.

• Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, radial arm saws, drill presses, mitre saws, and milling machines.

• Saw, hammer, and grind work pieces to cut, bend, and straighten metal.

• Drill holes and fasten materials together with screws.

• Operate basic power tools safely.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings and tape measure.

• Prior carpentry and/or metal assembly experience.

• Ability to apply quality control standards to the product.

• Must be able to meet the attendance requirements.

• Ability to work professionally with others.

• Able to follow instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No medical or certificates required.

Will be working at a warehouse located in Oshkosh. Very minimal travel to install the metal door/window frames in the Oshkosh area.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neenah, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
