Join our clients innovative team as a Lab Technician and become a crucial contributor to our New Product Development (NPD) initiatives, focusing on both the creation of new products and the enhancement of existing ones. This role demands a highly skilled individual proficient in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Formlabs 3D printers, ensuring the production of prototypes that adhere to our stringent quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess 1-5 years of relevant work experience. Key responsibilities include detailed cleaning and finishing of 3D printed objects, conducting tests and qualifications and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to drive projects from conception to production. Candidates should have a solid understanding of problem-solving techniques, be capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic setting, and uphold high safety and cleanliness standards in the laboratory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, and experience in the Consumer Product industry are highly desirable.

responsibilities:
Technical Support:
Provide expert technical support to team members and end-users regarding 3D printing processes and equipment.
Address and resolve printer malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production schedules.
Develop and update technical documentation, including user manuals, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Process Optimization:
Analyze and optimize printing processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
Experiment with different materials, settings, and techniques to achieve the best possible print results.
Implement and refine workflows to streamline the 3D printing process, from design to finished product
Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:
Regularly maintain and calibrate Formlabs and Bambo printers to ensure optimal performance.
Perform routine checks and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
Keep detailed maintenance records and schedule preventative maintenance..
Training and Guidance:
Train team members on the proper use and maintenance of 3D printing equipment.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure adherence to best practices.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in 3D printing technology and share knowledge with the team.
