Position Summary/Description:

This is a 2-year time-limited position.

The Production Associate in Go Heels Productions is responsible for assisting with production needs for live events being produced by the unit. These include ESPN / ACC Network broadcasts as well as in-venue productions. These positions will assist the Coordinating Producer in all aspects of broadcasts. This includes pre-production, graphics, replay, camera set, strike and operation and other needs. In addition to preparing for broadcasts, this position will fill production roles for broadcasts as needed – these could include technical direction, graphics production, replay operation, and others. These positions will be responsible for managing staff and broadcast for lower level productions for ACC Network when needed. Additionally, the Content Associates may be assigned other administrative tasks within the unit when required.

The Production Associates will report to the Coordinating Producer, who is responsible for all live broadcast projects within the department. The Production Associates will work with the Coordinating Producer, Broadcast Engineer, Event Producer, Graphics Producer and others required to coordinate both the creative and technical needs of broadcasts.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
