Position Summary/Description:

The Division of Nephrology at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for Clinical Assistant Professor specializing in interventional Nephrology. Duties include, but are not limited to, angioplasty and stent and coil placement in vessels associated with dialysis access, dialysis access thrombectomy and tunneled dialysis catheter placement. Clinical duties include dialysis, hospital service and consulting as well as outpatient clinic responsibilities. Responsibilities will include fellow/resident/student teaching.

Education and Experience:

Interventional Nephrology certification or eligibility for certification by the American Society of Diagnositic and Interventional Nephrology. Care of patients with chronic kidney disease, especially those with end-stage renal disease. Inpatient and emergency room nephrology consultation, including hemodialysis and continuous dialysis procedures.
