Position Summary/Description:

The Division of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for a Clinical Assistant Professor to provide clinical care to a diverse population in the General Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinics with focus on new models of collaborative care in a novel departmental multidisciplinary clinic.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to outpatient and inpatient care, hospital follow-up, same day clinic, and office-based procedures, supervision of residents and medical students, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Prefer completion of a residency program in an accredited program and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. Prior experience in PCMH type multi-disciplinary practice, experience teaching, and quality improvement are pluses.
