About the role

Develop and implement a robust maintenance program for all equipment at the CARRIER Navojoa plant. Leverage advanced maintenance techniques and industry best practices to maximize equipment uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Lead a team of skilled technicians to execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As a (specify role), you’ll be responsible for:

  • Manage the entire maintenance process for both infrastructure (JLL) and equipment, including preventive and corrective maintenance.

  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance processes for machinery and company infrastructure.

  • Oversee the backend area, including Wave Solder equipment, with support from respective technical personnel.

  • Ensure compliance with departmental metrics, ethics codes, and implement new improvements aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.

  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to procure necessary maintenance supplies for operations and infrastructure.

  • Manage employee skill matrices.

  • Develop strategies to minimize downtime across all plant areas and ensure optimal response times for required repairs.

  • Supervise work orders in the maintenance management software as needed.

  • Perform corrective equipment maintenance as required.

  • Provide 100% support to production.

  • Implement cost reduction projects.

  • Maintain critical spare parts inventory.

  • Identify environmental aspects of processes.

  • Support EHS assigned responsibilities.

  • Support CARRIER EXCELLENCE assigned responsibilities

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Manages skilled traders, general maintenance employees, or outside contractors for construction, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and equipment to meet operational objectives.

  • Manages security personnel at multiple sites, establishing and implementing building security, safety protocols, and adherence to organizational or government regulations.

  • Oversees planning, organization, and scheduling for facility maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair to ensure proper upkeep.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering

  • Electronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

  • English proficiency: 80%.
