Responsibilities

• Performs routine tasks in a laboratory or shop environment to test and evaluate bber components/samples.

• Prepares test samples according to international standards e.g., ASTM, ISO

• Performs testing of rubber samples using standard test methods

• Evaluates and reviews the generated test data

• Communicates test results to managemeers in the form of verbal feedback, short reports and presentations

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and observations.

• Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by manager within the physical constraints of the job.

• Maintain all equipment and ensure they are in good working condition.

• Ensure calibration of all equipments as per schedule and maintain a clean work environment for conducting tests.

• Prepare laboratory operating procedure and work instructions according to established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in science with minimum 5 years in reputed Rubber testing laboratory.

  Preferred

  Degree/diploma in rubber/polymer technology
