Job Description

CBRE's Investment Banking team works with a broad range of clients, including developers, institutional investors, and corporates to provide comprehensive strategic advice and capital raising. Job Summary

As Associate Director in the Investment Banking team, you’ll be a key player in our strategy and execution. Working with a broader team, you will be provided opportunities to be involved in live real estate transactions. The incumbent is also expected to understand nuances of structuring a real estate capital raising transaction involving M&A, Structured Financing, Asset Monetization etc. The role also requires traveling and working on transactions across Pan-India.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in the “full cycle” of transactional execution, including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing, executing, formulating financial analysis, and preparing and presenting memoranda and client presentations.

  • Play a leadership role in implementing the execution function, including working with analysts and associates, as well as assisting more senior bankers.

  • Have strong functional skills in major areas of investment banking and demonstrate the ability to become a senior resource who is well-equipped to execute their own transactions.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.

  • A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.

  • Strong functional modeling skills.

  • Understands the transaction cycle steps and process, and is execution-oriented.

  • Impeccable communication and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals and clients.

MBA in Finance from a Top B-School / CA
