Naval Facilities Engineering Command PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT REPRESENTATIVE in Naval Base, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a Performance Assessment Representative in the Facilities Maintenance & Sustainment Division, Facilities Engineering & Acquisition Branch, Public Works Department Naval Station Norfolk of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic. Responsibilities You will analyze contractor's work to identify and recommend corrective action to avoid possible issues (e.g., delays, claims, inefficient performance). You will discuss contract modification issues (e.g., funding, tasking, manpower) with contractors and agency or activity personnel. You will determine if the correct deliverables were provided and invoiced by contractors. You will conduct follow up assessment to ensure deficiency corrections have been applied. You will compile written reports to provide status or project updates. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Performance Assessment Methodology and ability to apply assessment methods of contractor's work against measurable performance standards; 2) Assisting in review of safety standards and perform a variety of administrative/operational contractual functions with oversight; 3) Developing ability to plan, organize, and facilitate the necessary meetings with customers and contractors to maintain mutual understandings with oversight; 4) Developing knowledge of safety plans and performance schedules with oversight; 5) Having progressive knowledge of report preparation and contract document review 6) Possessing good verbal and writing communication and computer skills. 7) Having progressive knowledge of Maximo platform or similar system. 8) Overseeing the quality of team members work. **NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.
