Project Controls Manager - Nationwide / Remote

The Role

The Proje c t Controls Man a ger is respon s ible for m anaging construction plannin g and sch e duling e f forts, cost analysis and project audits. The Projec t Controls Manager will serve as a liaison between th e E x ec u t iv e Management Team, Project Executives, and Proje c t Management. The Project Controls Manager will a lso perform progra m operational an d financial reviews as a s signed.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years’ project controls management experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industria l general contractor

  • E xtensive field experience with knowledge o f v a rious construction and engineering means and methods.

  • Experience with construction estimation, scheduling, and cost con t rol p rocesses

  • Ability to interpre t and perform analysis o f cost a n d schedule reports and data

  • Knowledge of accounting principle s , includin g construction accounting

  • Experience with sch e dule development and analy s is, to include impact analysi s .

  • Mu s t demonstrate a strong ability to:

  • Adapt and be flexible to frequent changes in a fast-pac e d work environment

  • Demonstrate integrity consi s tent with Centenni a l’ s core values

  • C ollaborate and wor k effectivel y in a team env i ronm e nt with peopl e of various bac k g r o u n d s and styles

  • Ba c helor’s degree in Construction Man a gement, E ngineering, o r relate d field highly desired

    Re s ponsibilities:

  • Project Management: Re s ponsible for th e manag e ment of th e Proje c t Contro l activitie s including s c heduling, budgeting, estimating , risk as s essment and managem e nt, reporting, con t ract administration an d administrativ e servic e s. M a na g e plannin g an d s c heduling activitie s including development of summary and detailed project schedule s , progres s and performance monitoring, sch e dule changes and workaround solutions; plans and manages the execution of project audits.

  • Financial Manageme n t: Perfor m regul a r projec t r e views and monito r th e jo b cost report again s t key performance in d icators (KPIs). Identify co s t reduction strategie s in s c hedule, quantitie s o r contract s pecifications tha t alig n with p rojec t bud g et a nd de s ig n s pecification requ i rements . As s ist with resource and cost loading to the sch e dule, including labor projections, equipment and mate rial projections, and p roductivity tren d reporting t o accurately forec a st project c o s t s a nd p r o j ec t f i n a n c i a l outcome. As s ists project close out procedures and other duties as as s igned.

  • Re s ponsible for drivin g between pr o ject sites tha t are oft e n mile s apart or m i les fro m the as s igned office location.

  • Must be able to travel to Nationwide project sites 50% of the time.

  • Performance of the required jo b duties will be in a n office environment alon g with visits t o sites that are unde r construction which m a y include var i ous weather conditions.

    The salary range for this position is $100,794.00 - $188,627.00.
