Job Title: General Labor
Job Description
General laborers will support the Boiler Inspection Project, focusing on disassembling, refurbishing, and re-installing parts on the USS Boxer. The role also involves performing general labor duties as needed.
Responsibilities
Disassemble, refurbish, and re-install parts on the USS Boxer.
Perform general labor duties as required.
Use hand and power tools effectively.
Read and interpret tape measures accurately.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for more than 8 hours per day.
Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
Skilled in using hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least 1 year of tenure in a mechanical capacity at the most recent job.
Previous experience in shipyard or construction environments is ideal but not mandatory.

Work Environment
The work is located on a Naval Base on 32nd Street, in collaboration with NASCO. The environment includes the use of various hand and power tools and requires lifting and standing for extended periods.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
