The Key Accounts Lead provides direction to a team that delivers value to key accounts including, but not limited to, drugstore chains, pharmacies, and hospitals through strategic partnerships and programs. This role is also responsible for leading all aspects of strategic alliances for key legacy brands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coaches, leads, influences and supports a team to drive performance and achieve team goals within established timelines and budgets.

  • Gathers insights from, engages with, and develops relationships with customers to ensure initiatives and programs align with business expectations.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and Third Party Intermediaries to define project success metrics and help teams leverage tracking and reporting tools.

  • Makes sure that the team is aligned with organizational standards and protocols to guarantee quality and consistency.

  • Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

  • Leads without authority within cross-functional teams.

  • Owns input and operational expertise to aid senior management for management reviews, including scenario development and the evaluation and assessment of improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the healthcare industry

  • Strategic thinking, business acumen and strong analytical skills

  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

  • Strong cross-functional and people leadership skills

  • Demonstrated drive for results and ability to work collaboratively and establish positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of professional experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector. Pharmaceutical marketing and sales experience is an advantage.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • University or bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, MBA or master’s degree preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Philippine healthcare environment and systems.

  • Commitment to ethical business practices.
